Your account

• Sign up with your email from the home page (you need to be 14 or older).
• Forgot your password? On the log in screen choose “Forgot it?”, type your email or @username and one of your recovery codes (make them in Settings → Recovery codes) or your 2-step code, then pick a new password. No codes? Contact us and we’ll check it’s really you.
• Your data: download a copy in Settings → Your data, and delete your account in Settings → Delete account.
• Change your photo, banner, name, @username or bio on your profile — click the part you want to change.
• Several accounts? Menu → Switch account. You can stay logged in to up to five.

Posting

• Use + Create at the top to write a post, upload a short or a video, create an event — and, with the right role, a movie, a series or a song.
• Tag people by typing @ and their name.
• Videos and shorts can be Public, Unlisted (link only) or Private.

Messages, calls and groups

• You can message people who follow you back. Groups are open to everyone who joins.
• Start a voice or video call from the top of a chat. During a call you can share your screen or play a game.
• In groups, voice channels work like a room: join, talk, share your screen and play sounds from the soundboard.

Privacy and safety

• Make your account private: Menu → Privacy & blocking.
• Block or report someone from the ⋯ button on their profile. They won’t be told.
• See and clear what you watched in Menu → History.
